Academic Support

Education is a partnership between parents, students, staff, teachers and community members. It is important that we all work together to provide rigorous and robust education for our students. Parents are encouraged to talk with children regarding their academic progress regularly, and to ensure students remain engaged in their education.

Our teachers work hard to provide excellent educational experiences for all students. They utilize Google Classroom to communicate and post all assignments and activities. We encourage families to monitor their child’s education closely by:

  • Monitoring Google Classroom nightly
  • Checking student’s progress on AERIES by accessing the Aeries Portal
  • Using Google Classroom in combination with AERIES to track assignments, monitor grades, and complete work is key to a student’s success.
  • Accessing the Clever Portal for all student apps
  • Reaching out to teachers with any questions or concerns
Homework Club

Homework club is on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 3:00pm-3:45pm in the Library. Students can attend any day by simply dropping in. 8th grade National Junior Honor students are available to help students through their work.

Help Clubs

Many of our teachers have a Help Club – a specific time they are available to work with a group of students.  Students can also talk with the teacher and set up a time to meet.  Please reach out to your student’s teachers to determine if they offer a help club.

Other Tutoring

We have fliers from adult tutors which are available upon request by contacting your student’s Counselor.  These tutors are not affiliated with the school or district, so you would want to check their references first.
