2018-19 Online course selection started yesterday and will go through April 27th. Please log into the Parent PowerSchool account to start the process. This is specific to current 6th and 7th graders. Course selection instructions:
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It’s time for your student to select their courses for next year! You and your student will need to log in to your PowerSchool account to choose their courses. The selection process will remain open until the end of the day on Friday, April 27th. Please take the time to discuss the different elective options with your student in order to help them make the best choice for next year.
Please follow the instructions below to access PowerSchool Parent and the online course selection form.
Step One: Log into your PowerSchool Account (just like you would to check grades) or go to bms.beniciaunified.org –>Quicklinks –>PowerSchool parent sign in.
Step Two: Click on Class Registration from the list of options on the left-hand side of the page (in the middle of the list). The Benicia Middle School Class Registration System for the 2018-2019 screen will appear.
Step Three: To open the course selection for each section, click on the pencil on the upper right side of the screen. Read the directions carefully. Select the courses you want to take and click “Okay.” Follow this step for each section.
Step Four: Once you have selected your courses, click Submit at the bottom of the page. A screen will appear confirming your course selections. If you need to make any changes, click on Class Registration. After making the necessary changes, be sure to click Submit again.
